EVELYN GIBBS - PROFILE

After completing the Real Estate Salesperson's Course Ev joins the team at Selwyn Metcalfe Ltd as Personal Assistant to Harvey Gibbs, Rural and Lifestyle Consultant.

Ev has had 30 years experience in the education sector as secondary school teacher, Head of Department, Deputy Principal, Facilitator of teacher professional development workshops, and NCEA Moderator and exam marker. She also manages all the paperwork and financial matters on the family farm.

With her past experience in research, her drive for perfection, and her meticulous attention to detail, you can be assured that Ev will provide up to date and accurate information to meet all your real estate needs. Ev's financial and administrative skills, together with her strong negotiating and communication skills, will complement Harvey's great people skills and farming knowledge.

Together with family, sport and fitness have always been a major part of Ev's personal life. In the past she has played basketball, touch and squash, taken part in triathlons and the NP half marathon, and continues to tutor a Circuit Training fitness night class. Ev has competed successfully at NZ and World Masters Swimming Games, but swimming training has been temporarily put on the back burner while she now tackles the frustrating game of golf!

Ev is looking forward to channelling the energy and dedication that in the past she has put into her sport and teaching career, into this exciting new challenge as part of the awesome team at Selwyn Metcalfe Ltd.
